Individual Counseling

“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.”

– Mary Oliver

Individual counseling explores your relationship with yourself.

Whether you're seeking counseling because of anxiety, depression, disconnection, or anything else, individual counseling sessions can help you understand the path that brought you to where you are today. Therapy is a safe, confidential space for you to develop insight into the behaviors, events, and burdens that affect your life, and build tools for managing future challenges.

Solutions and techniques learned in therapy lead to long-term, sustainable growth that changes lives.

Collateral Sessions

A joint session with a supportive person

In individual counseling, we’ll often discuss relationships with people who strongly impact your life. Occasionally, it may be helpful to invite one or more of those people– a partner, parents, a sibling, a caregiver, etc.– to join one or more sessions. It can be helpful to bring the person in to practice new skills, explore aspects of the relationship, or resolve conflict with the guidance of a therapist. By providing a safe space to address a specific need, both parties can learn from each other and build better patterns for the future.

Individual and collateral sessions are 50 minutes.
